Furthermore, The Euless Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association was formed to support the Department in many community activities. The association is opened to all citizens of the city who want to give back their time and talents for making this city a better place in which to live and bring up their children. As you know, the police departments today are called upon to do many things in the community, and in many cases, are under staffed to handle the request and demands of the citizens. So the Alumni Association supports them in as many requests as we can. How do we, as alumni members, lessen the burden of the department? Through our fund raising projects, we can provide the Department with items not budgeted and are used to make their jobs more productive. The Alumni Association acts as an unofficial public relations group within the city to further the community base policing programs and in general spread the word about the great work the police are doing in the community. This is done through town hall meetings, city and community functions. Anyone who has completed the Euless Citizens Police Academy has the opportunity to become a member of the Euless Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. To become a member, please fill out this application.
