This is a twelve week Citizen’s Fire and Police Academy (CFPA) is taught by the
Euless Fire and Police Departments. The class meets once a week for
approximately three hours per night and is open to any resident of The City of
Euless. The purpose of the academy is to increase your understanding of
the mission, procedures, techniques, problems, dangers and experiences of the
Euless public service departments. To accomplish this task, we will use a
combination of lecture, demonstration, films, hands-on participation, and other
means to place you in the shoes of today's public service officers. In
this academy you will get to meet many of the police officers and fire fighters
who serve this community, be able to participate in ride outs, and be exposed to
the city through their eyes. This
academy is not designed to make a police officer or fire fighter out of its
students, but provide them with a great insight into the workings of your Euless
Fire and Police Departments. |
For more information you can fill out the Registration Form below or you can contact Sgt. Eric Starnes at 817-685-1500 or Inspector Vernon Gilmore at 817-685-1605.
