ECPAAA MISSION STATEMENT
 & OBJECTIVES

To provide the citizens of Euless a better understanding
of the dedication and integrity of the police department.

The Euless Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association was formed as a civic group to support the Euless Police Department in the area of community understanding regarding the legal aspects of what a Police Department can do, and cannot do when enforcing local, state, and federal laws.  Through seminars, pamphlets, demonstrations, films, hands-on participation, as well as, forums with the various elected officials, (Mayor, City Councils, County Judges, and District Attorneys), a strong effort will be made to heighten the awareness and to foster an excellent relationship between the citizens of this community and its Police Department.

Furthermore, The Euless Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association was formed to support the Department in many community activities.  The association is opened to all citizens of the city who want to give back their time and talents for making this city a better place in which to live and bring up their children.  As you know, the police departments today are called upon to do many things in the community, and in many cases, are under staffed to handle the request and demands of the citizens. So the Alumni Association supports them in as many requests as we can.

How do we, as alumni members, lessen the burden of the department?

Through our fund raising projects, we can provide the Department with items not budgeted and are used to make their jobs more productive.  The Alumni Association acts as an unofficial public relations group within the city to further the community base policing programs and in general spread the word about the great work the police are doing in the community.  This is done through town hall meetings, city and community functions.
